MitoEAGLE
- Benefits for COST and for the COST Action MitoEAGLE
- WG4 is close to my own experience in the laboratory. Mitochondria status in peripheral blood mononuclear cells represents a mirror image of what is happening in the blood progenitor compartments, as most of those cells are short-lived.
- One of my main interest is the role of mitochondria during the aging process. Description of their metabolism and intervention studies is a subject that I keep updated with and work with, in parallel with other research projects.
