• MitoPedia news: CCCP - Carbonyl cyanide m-chloro phenyl hydrazone: In our on-going respirometric experiments with various sources of mitochondria and different mt-preparations, results using CCCP as an uncoupler were fully comparable with parallel experiments using FCCP. Therefore, we replace in our lab FCCP by CCCP at slightly higher optimum concentrations for maximum ETS capacity. Importantly, CCCP is far less expensive than the frequently used uncoupler FCCP (protocol development supported by [[MitoCom Tyrol]).
