Oca: Octanoate (Sodium Octanoate; Sigma C 5038, 10 g, store at RT; FW = 166.19.
Preparation of 10 mM stock solution (dissolved in H2O):
  1. Weigh 11.619 mg Octanoate.
  2. Add 10 mL dt H2O.
  3. Divide into 0.5 mL portions.
  4. Store frozen at -20 Β°C.
