APExBIO produces Octanoyl carnitin and gives information on it (solubility, storage, tips how to solve it). BioTrend is the company where Oroboros orders it.
TOCRIS: there it was ordered previously. No info left, why those orders were discontinued. Nevertheless, this is the company which says that the solvent (and the amount of residual solvent and therefore the molar mass) may vary from batch to batch.
