Description
When the TIP2k syringe is blocked, it must not be used with the TIP2k, and specific cleaning instructions should be followed.

- Start immediately with extensive cleaning procedures.
- Suitable solvents for extensive cleaning procedures depend on the substances used. Chloroform was successful for some fatty acids.
- An ultrasonic bath may be helpful in cleaning partially blocked syringes.
- Once a needle is totally blocked it is usually impossible (with exceptions) to clean it.
