Glycerophosphate dehydrogenase Complex
Description
Mitochondrial glycerophosphate dehydrogenase is on the outer face of the inner mt-membrane and oxidizes glycerophosphate to dihydroxyacetone phosphate. A flavin prosthetic group of GpDH donates its reducing equivalents to Q.
Abbreviation: GpDH
Reference: MiPNet11.09
Labels:
Enzyme: Inner mtMembrane Transporter"Inner mtMembrane Transporter" is not in the list (Adenine nucleotide translocase, Complex I, Complex II;succinate dehydrogenase, Complex III, Complex IV;cytochrome c oxidase, Complex V;ATP synthase, Inner mt-membrane transporter, Marker enzyme, Supercomplex, TCA cycle and matrix dehydrogenases, ...) of allowed values for the "Enzyme" property.
Sigma does not sell DL-alpha-glycerophosphate disodium salt hexahydrate (FW= 324.1; Sigma G-2138) any more!
